Analog Game System Symphony

My buddy, Sam, from Grad School turned me on to this video from WIRED.COM¬†about a guy that created a symphony using computer parts and vintage/old video game consoles and computer parts. The composer’s name is¬†James Houston. The piece demands respect but the song is mediocre at best. That said, I think his geek factor makes up for whatever the song lacks.

Documentary Recommendation: Beware of Mr. Baker (2012)

This rockumentary came on high recommendation to me from one of my musically inclined friends. I watched it today at 8AM because I got up particularly early today because my wife was leaving early to participate in the Color Me Rad 5k in Indianapolis. This documentary gets 5/5 in my book and a 98% on rottentomatoes. Check it out if you are into incredibly talented and eccentric drummers. It’s inspired me to dust off my Fresh Cream LP and give it another go.

I’m on a gnarly documentary kick as of late. This is the third good doc I’ve seen in the past 2 days.
