Today I said goodbye to the first car that I ever purchased with my own money. She was a reliable 1998 Honda Accord that I had dubbed the “Green Machine.” She was a reliable automobile that enjoyed many journeys. She will be missed dearly. However, she is not dead so I will quit speaking as if she has undergone some sort of catastrophic demise. I would like to think that she’s more of a green cougar out on the prowl for fresh meat.

She will go on to lead a full life in the hands of her new owner, Duncan (guitarist for Hotfox). I hope that she treats him as well as she has treated me. Fare well my old friend.
