My laptop has been on the fritz for just over a month and it has been driving me crazy. My laptop comes with me everywhere I go. It is the sole piece of equipment that figuratively connects my recording studio to my apartment.
Unfortunately, my macbook is no longer under warranty and out-of-warranty repairs with Apple can be quite costly. Luckily for me, I’m a computer technician and am fully qualified to administer the repairs. After doing a bit of research online, I found a new replacement keyboard at PowerBookMedic.com. The website was clean, easy to navigate, and had exactly what I needed. However, being that I am already going to be replacing the entire top-case assembly… I decided to mix things up a little bit. I purchased a black top-case assembly to install on my white macbook (hence the biracial remark).
My new macbook keyboard arrived yesterday and I was quick to install it. I took a few pictures of the installation.
